Brandon Hance


Brandon Hance is a college athlete-turned-entrepreneur who co-founded music focused technology company Audiolife in 2006.  As a championship quarterback for the University of Southern California, Brandon sidestepped the opportunity to play professional football and instead harnessed his keen leadership skills and reputation for effective decision making to assemble a team and raise capital for Audiolife, where he now serves as chief executive officer.  To date, notable achievements in that role include: forging key music and entertainment industry partnerships and strategic alliances with AEG, Topspin, ReverbNation, Myxer, INGrooves,  Dipdive, Concord Music Group, Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group and William Morris; securing distribution and merchandising deals with more than 200,000 artists including Paul McCartney,, Rihanna, Green Day, James Taylor, Eminem and Kid Rock; and raising over $7M in capital to launch the company and facilitate ongoing growth.  As one of the leading, young entrepreneurs in the country, Brandon has been featured in Billboard Magazine, Wired, Business Week, Fast Company and The Wall Street Journal. 

He regularly contributes opinions and commentary about music-tech trends and business leadership to his company blog,, and  He has been chosen to speak on panels during key music and tech industry conferences and has appeared as a guest lecturer at both the University of Southern California and the Musician’s Institute.  In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Brandon regularly engages in ongoing thought leadership discussions and peer groups with fellow business leaders and young philanthropists through organizations such as The Summit Series, A2IM, ASCAP, and NARM.  Brandon graduated with honors from the University of Southern California and holds a B.S. in Music Business.
