Kenneth Lamb


Kenneth R. Lamb is a California qualified partner in the London office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.

For more than twenty years, Mr. Lamb has represented publicly traded and privately held business entities in connection with a wide variety of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, U.K. and U.S. capital markets transactions, venture capital and joint ventures.  He has served as outside corporate counsel to Access Industries,, Cadence Design Systems, CIBC World Markets, Deutsche Bank, Doughty Hanson,, Global Leisure Partners, The Gores Group, Heineken, Intel Corporation, Marlin Equity Partners, Providence Equity Partners, PeopleSoft and Saputo.

From 2001 to 2003, Mr. Lamb was an investment banker providing strategic M&A advisory services as a Managing Director and Head of both Technology M&A and West Coast M&A at CIBC World Markets. 

Prior to that, he was a partner in the Los Angeles and San Francisco offices of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, having joined the firm in 1985. 

Mr. Lamb has been acknowledged annually by UK Legal Experts since 2006 as a leading lawyer in the field of International and Cross-Border Mergers & Acquisitions. Chambers UK 2011 acknowledges him as a leading lawyer in the field of Private Equity/ Buyouts, and he has also been recommended for Corporate Finance: High-End Capability and Corporate M&A: High-End Capability by other editions of Chambers. Mr. Lamb is recommended by UK Legal 500 2010 for Flotations: small and mid-cap.
